During his tenure of service, Mr. Khalid Khan was posted at Bangalore, Gwalior, Shillong and Mumbai. He completed his post graduation in Public Administration from Osmania University, Hyderabad and B.Ed from Bharti Shiksha Parishad, Lucknow and PG Diploma in Human Resource Development(MBA) from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. With his vast knowledge about the education system in India and competitive exams, he organised several programs on vocational educational guidance for the students and helped them succeed in different competitive exams in India and also helped them to get admission successfully in professional colleges. At the age of 32, Mr. Khalid Khan took premature retirement from Indian Air Force in June 1995 and dedicated himself for the educational upliftment of Muslim Community. He also visited several schools in different countries and interacted with experts on school education to understand their approach to modern schools with Islamic education, curriculum etc. He successfully struck a balance between modern and religious education by applying all modern teaching techniques.
Mr. Khalid Khan established St. Haris High School(Govt. Recognised) at Mira Road (E), Mumbai – 401107 from 1st February in 1999 and introduced Maharashtra board curriculum in the school in an Islamic environment. Provisions for Nazra Qur’an, Hifz of the Qur’an and congregational prayers are also made in the school premises. It proved to be successful experiment of balanced approach to modern and religious education under his able supervision.
Mr. Khalid Khan regularly writes in the Newspapers, School Magazines and motivate people to be successful in this world and Hereafter (Akhirah). He also takes personality development classes in the schools and helps students to develop their personalities according to righteous Islamic tenets.
